Damaged Hair

Alright you over processed, damaged haired girls, the shampoo for you is… repairing shampoo. It may also be labeled reconstructive shampoo. If your hair is like this from coloring services, then shame on your hairstylist! They should have told you that this could happen. If it is from constant straightening with a flat iron, then shame on you! Take small sections of your hair and only go over each section two times. If it’s not straight by then, you need to work it in smaller sections or buy a better flat iron.

Repairing shampoos and conditioners will have vitamins and proteins. It will also provide needed moisture.  Apply conditioner from the roots to the ends and leave in for a couple minutes before rinsing. About once a week, apply the conditioner and leave it in for at least 30 minutes before rinsing.  It is also a good idea to get your hair trimmed at least every six weeks until the damaged parts of your hair are gone.
